Abstract

Pčelarstvo je važan čimbenik cijelog eko-sustava. U Hrvatskoj se pčelarstvo prvi puta spominje 1288. godine. Na ovim prostorima pčelari se sa sivom medonosnom pčelom, pasmine grupe C. Ostale pasmine medonosne pčele na svijetu su pasmine grupe A, pasmine grupe M i pasmine grupe O. Na većinu medonosnih pčela djeluju klimatske promjene, Varoa, bakterije i ostale čimbenici koji u kombinaciji potom dovode do CCD-a. Također, pesticidi mogu doći u doticaj s pčelama te imati učinak na iste, što u konačnici ima učinak na suvremenu ekonomiju i okoliš cijelog svijeta, a također i Europske Unije. Ekonomska važnost pčelarstva za Europsku Uniju je vrlo bitna jer je Europska Unija drugi svjetski proizvođač meda, nakon Kine te prvi svjetski uvoznik meda. Osim što su pčelinji proizvodi važni za ekonomiju Europske Unije, ne smijemo zaboraviti i osnovnu ulogu pčelarstva, a to je oprašivanje biljaka koje poslije daju urod i plod. Pčelari u Hrvatskoj imaju iznad prosječan broj pčelinjih zajednica u odnosu na njihove kolege iz drugih Europskih država. Broj pčelara u Hrvatskoj se smanjio od ulaska Hrvatske u Europsku Uniju, a uvoz meda se povećao. Najveći uvoz meda u kilogramima je iz Kine, a najveći izvoz meda u kilogramima je u Sloveniju. Od ulaska Hrvatske u Europsku Uniju, smanjio se broj pčelara, broj košnica ali se povećala produktivnost pčelara i pčelinjih zajednica.

Abstract (english)

Beekeeping is an important factor in the whole eco-system. Beekeeping was first mentioned in Croatia in 1288. In these areas beekeepers are beekeeping with gray honey bees, group C. Other breeds of honey bees in the world are breeds of group A, breeds of group M and breeds of group O. Larger parts of honey bees are affected by climate change, varroa, bacteria and other factors that then lead to CCD. Also, pesticides can come into contact with bees in the same way, which ultimately can have an impact on the current economy and environment of the whole world and also in the European Union. The economic importance of beekeeping to the European Union is very important because the European Union is the second world producer of honey, after China and the first world import of honey. In addition to the fact that bee products are important for the European Union economy, we must not forget the basic role of beekeeping, which is the pollination of plants . Beekeepers in Croatia have more than the average number of bee hives compared to their counterparts in other European countries. The number of beekeepers in Croatia has decreased since Croatia become part of European Union, and honey imports have increased. The largest imports of honey in kilograms are from China, and the largest exports of honey in kilograms is in Slovenia. Since Croatia become a part of the European Union, the number of beekeepers, the number of hives has decreased but the productivity of beekeepers and bees has increased.
