Abstract

U ovom radu fokus je usmjeren na ulogu ekološkog dizajna proizvoda kao osnove gospodarenja otpadom. Sve su jači pritisci civilnog društva, ali i drugi trendovi koji prisiljavaju poduzeća da društveno odgovorno poslovanje ugrade u sve elemente poslovanja. Sustav održivog upravljanja okolišem temelji se na dobro promišljenoj i ekonomičnoj upotrebi prirodnih izvora, pri čemu je fokus usmjeren na uporabu ekološki prihvatljivijih tehnologija u proizvodnji, smanjenju otpada i manjoj potrošnji energije i vode. Postoji nekoliko definicija ekološkog dizajna kojima je zajedničko to da on za cilj ima smanjenje negativnih utjecaja na okoliš gdje je fokus usmjeren na životni ciklus proizvoda od same uporabe polaznih sirovina pa do konačnog odlaganja. Iz svega proizlazi da će u budućnosti ekološki dizajn imati značajnu ulogu u mnogim gospodarskim granama, te da će se ova izuzetno kompleksna problematika i dalje razvijati s nizom novih i inovativnih rješenja.

Abstract (english)

In this paper, the focus is on the role of the eco-design of the product as a basis for waste management and circular economy. All civil societies give more attention to this topic, but also other trends that force companies to incorporate the socially responsible business into all business elements. The Sustainable Environmental Management System is based on a well thought-out and cost-effective use of natural resources, focusing on the use of more environmentally friendly technologies in production, waste reduction and lower energy and water consumption. There are several definitions of environmental design that are common to the effect of reducing negative environmental impacts where the focus is on the life cycle of the product from the use of the raw materials themselves until the final disposal. From all that, in the future, the ecological design will play a significant role in many branches of the economy, and that these extremely complex issues will continue to evolve with a series of new and innovative solutions.
