Abstract

Informacijski sustavi u financijskom sustavu poboljšavaju i unaprjeđuju poslovanje. Njihova uloga je jedna od ključnih, posebice u bankarskom sektoru, te upravo zbog toga svjedočimo učestalim hakerskim napadima na banke i ostale institucije financijskog sustava. Bitno je prepoznati ranjivosti kojima su sustavi izloženi da bi se u skladu s njima primjenile određene zaštitne mjere. Zaštitne mjere pokrivaju sve dijelove informacijskog sustava, od fizičkih i vidljivih dijelova sve do softverskih zaštita sustava. Cilj istraživanja je utvrditi koje su to ranjivosti i prijetnje kojima je financijski sustav izložen te ukazati na moguće preporuke putem analiziranih primjera napada u prošlosti. Primjeri koji se analiziraju su: napad pod kodnim imenom Dark Vishnya, napadi grupe Carbanak te napad na Središnju banku u Bangladešu.

Abstract (english)

Information systems in financial system improve and enhance businesses. Their role is one of the key ones, especially in the banking sector, which is why we are witnessing frequent hacking attack on banks and other financial institutions. It is important to identify vulnerabilities to which information systems are being exposed in order to use protective measures according to that. Protective measures cover all parts on information systems, from physical and visible parts all the way to software protections. The aim of the research is determine vulnerabilities and threats to which financial system is exposed and also to point out some recommendations through analyzed examples of attacks in past. Analyzed examples are: attacks under the codename Dark Vishnya, attacks by Carbanak group and Central bank of Bangladesh attack
