Abstract

Trgovački centri danas imaju veliku ulogu u maloprodaji. S obzirom na sve veće ljudske potrebe i ubrzani način života, ljudi imaju tendenciju odlaska u trgovačke centre kako bi obavili veliku kupnju ili zadovoljili svoje želje, od egzistencijalnih pa do društvenih, sve u jednom danu. U ovom radu naglasak se stavlja na istraživanje odabira lokacije i njezine važnosti trgovačkih centara i njihovu društvenu ulogu. Lokacija je od iznimne važnosti, jer jednom kada se lokacija odredi i na njoj bude sagrađen trgovački centar, male su mogućnosti premještanja, a samim time su troškovi ogromni. Zbog toga investitori (vlasnici) odvajaju puno vremena u traženju prave lokacije. Isto tako pokušavaju predvidjeti pokazatelje i trendove u budućnosti kako bi sam trgovački centar bio uspješan. Trgovački centri su se toliko razvili da ih je nemoguće zamisliti bez društvene komponente. Prilikom posjeta trgovačkog centra, kupci se isto tako žele opustiti i provesti kvalitetno vrijeme s prijateljima ili obitelji. Zbog toga se u trgovačkim centrima uvijek smještaju kina, restorani i igraonice za djecu.

Abstract (english)

Shopping malls play a big role in retail today. Given the increasing human needs and fast-paced lifestyle, people tend to go to the mall to make a big purchase or satisfy their desires, from existential to social, all in one day. In this paper, the emphasis is on exploring selected places and its important shopping centers and its social members. The location is of the utmost importance, because once the location is determined and a mall will be built on it, there is little opportunity for relocation, and thus the cost is huge. This is why investors (owners) take a lot of time in finding the right location. They also try to predict indicators and trends in the future for the mall itself to be successful. Shopping centers have developed so much that it is impossible to imagine them without the social components. When visiting the mall, shoppers are so eager to let go and explore quality time with friends or family. This is why shopping malls, restaurants and playrooms for children are always in the malls.
