Abstract

Hotelska industrija danas je vrlo podložna promjenama u okolini i opterećena različitim zahtjevima potrošača te se nastoji svima prilagoditi kako bi ostvarili što uspješnije poslovanje. Brojne nepredvidive situacije se mogu negativno odraziti na poslovanje hotelskih poduzeća, stoga je za njihovo uspješno funkcioniranje potrebno imati dobro i učinkovito korporativno upravljanje i interne mehanizme korporativnog upravljanja, kako bi hotelska poduzeća bila spremna na gotovo svaku nepredviđenu situaciju i krizu te za iste imali već priprema krizni plan menadžmenta. U ovom radu istražuje se kako različite nepredvidive situacije i krize utječu na odabrana hotelska poduzeća različite veličine te načine na koji oni odgovaraju na te krize. Dobiveni rezultati poslužit će za analizu i usporedbu sustava upravljanja krizom u promatranim hotelskim poduzećima.

Abstract (english)

Today, the hotel industry is very susceptible to changes in the environment and burdened with different consumer requirements, and by that, they strive to adapt to all in order to be successful in their work. Numerous unforeseen situations can have a negative impact on the operations of hotel companies, so for their successful functioning it is necessary to have good and efficient corporate governance and internal corporate governance mechanisms, so that hotel companies are ready for almost any unforeseen situation and crisis and have crisis management plan. This thesis investigates how different unpredictable situations and crises affect selected hotel companies of different sizes and the ways in which they respond to these crises. the obtained results will be used for analysis and comparison of crisis management systems in the observed hotel companies.
