Abstract

Ubrzane promjene na maloprodajnom tržištu u posljednjih nekoliko desetljeća prisilile su maloprodavače na uvođenje inovacija kako bi održali korak s konkurentima i opstali na tržištu. Moderan život karakterizira brzina i stres, radnje se žele obavljati što je brže moguće, pa se stoga od maloprodavača zahtjeva da kupcima omogući alate kojima će proces kupovine učiniti bržim i jednostavnijim. Jedan takav alat su i samoposlužne blagajne. Svrha ovoga rada je utvrditi prihvaćenost te vrste samoposlužne tehnologije prilikom kupovine proizvoda svakodnevne potrošnje od strane starijih potrošača.

Abstract (english)

Rapid changes on the retail market during the last few decades have forced retailers to implement innovations to keep up with the competition and stay in the game on the market. Modern life is characterised by it's speed and stress, people want to do things as quickly as possible, so the retailer has to offer his customers tools that will allow them to make the buying process faster and simpler. One such tool are self-service cash registers. The purpose of this work is to determine the acceptance of that kind of self-service technology among older consumers while shopping for everyday products.
