Abstract

U ovom radu analizirana je industrija informacijske tehnologije kroz njene osnove aspekte. Unatrag nekoliko desetljeća informacijske tehnologije snažno se razvijaju i daju zamah razvoju novih, još neistraženih industrija, koje se temelje na znanju, inovacijama, istraživanju i razvoju. IT industrija jedna je od najrazvijenijih industrija današnjice te ima dalekosežan utjecaj. Rad objašnjava na koji način informacijska tehnologija mijenja načine na koji ljudi žive i rade, te u kojem omjeru mijenja ustroj i način poslovanja suvremenih tvrtki. Analiziran je obuhvat i utjecaj industrije u Hrvatskoj prema broju zaposlenih, prihodima, plaćama, uvozu i investicijama te je dan pregled vodećih globalnih tehnoloških kompanija. Prikazan je utjecaj koji ta industrija posjeduje te što ju čini specifičnom i efikasnom. Uz to napravljena je analiza domaćeg tehnološkog poduzeća RevesingLabas kako bi se prikazao način poslovanja i uspjeh jednog poduzeća iz ove industrije. Analiza se odnosi na profil tvrtke, njenu klimu te mogući razvoj, također su razloženi su osnovni financijski pokazatelji te lanac vrijednosti.

Abstract (english)

This thesis covers analysis of the information tecnology industry. Over the past few decades, information technologies had great development and given impetus to the development of new, as yet unexplored industries, based on knowledge, innovation, research and development. The IT industry is one of the most promising industries and has a far-reaching impact. The paper explains how information technology changes the ways people live and work, and to what extent it changes the structure and way of doing business of modern companies. The influence of this industry in Croatia is analysed trough employees, income, salaries, export and investments. It is given an owerview of the leading global technology companies. It is shown how great impact IT industry has and what makes it specific and efficient. In addition, an analysis of the domestic technology company RevesingLabas was made to show the way of doing business and the success of a company from this industry. The analysis refers to the company's profile, its climate and possible future development. The basic financial indicators and the value chain are also explained.
