Abstract

Jedno od ključnih pitanja poslovanja je kako unaprijediti upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima i produktivnost zaposlenika. Glavnu ulogu u uspješnom poslovanju imaju zadovoljni zaposlenici. Organizacije žele znati kako zaposlenici obavljaju svoje radne zadatke i kako to utječe na njihovu radnu uspješnost.
Radna uspješnost doprinosti ostvarenju ciljeva organizacije, stoga menadžeri žele uskladiti aktivnosti i rezultate rada zaposlenika s organizacijskim ciljevima. Kako bi poboljšale i unaprijedile svoje poslovanje, organizacije žele znati što sve utječe na aspekte ljudskog ponašanja. Ono što prožima sve aspekte ljudskog ponašanja je mentalno zdravlje koje je danas sve popularnija tema istraživanja. Mentalno zdravlje, između ostalog, povezano je sa socijalnim i fizičkim funkcioniranjem te se na njega danas gleda kao preduvjet za socijalni i ekonomski razvoj društva. U ovom diplomskom radu nastojalo se istražiti postoji li povezanost mentalnog zdravlja i radne uspješnosti zaposlenika. Provedenim empirijskim istraživanjem ustanovljeno je kako je povezanost mentalnog zdravlja i radne uspješnosti zaposlenika prisutna.

Abstract (english)

One of the main questions in business is how to improve management of human resources and productivity of employees. Satisfied employees have the key role when it comes to successful business management. Organizations are interested in how employees do their tasks and how does it impact on their work performance.
Work performance contributes to achieving goals of the organization and that is why management of the organization want activities and results of employees aligned with organizational goals. In order for organizations to improve their business, they need knowledge of everything that impacts aspects of people behavior. One topic that permeates all the aspects of people behavior is mental health which is more and more popular when it comes to research in this field. Mental health is connected to social and physical functioning and is assumed that is one of the conditions for social and economic development of the society. In this graduate thesis, focus of the research was to find out if there is relationship between mental health and work performance of the employees. The research that was carried out in this thesis brought to the conclusion that there is relationship between mental health and work performance.
