Abstract
Blockchain je inovativna tehnologija prenošenja skoro svake vrste digitalnih informacija i kriptovaluta.Jednostavno rečeno, definicija blockchaina je zajednička, digitalna knjiga ili baza podataka, financijskih transakcija koje se spremaju na više računala na različitim lokacijama. Baza podataka stalno raste kako se u nju dodaju nove transakcije ili 'blokovi'. To tvori kontinuirani lanac podataka gdje su zapisi javni i provjerljivi. Kako nema središnjeg mjesta, teže je hakirati jer informacije postoje na milijunima različitih mjesta.
Abstract (english)
In simple terms, the definition of blockchain is a shared, digital ledger, or database, of financial transactions which are saved on multiple computers in different locations. The database constantly grows as new transactions or 'blocks' are added to it. This forms a continuous chain of data where the records are public and verifiable. As there is no central location, it is harder to hack as the information exists in millions of different places.
