Abstract

Zračni promet predstavlja vrstu prometa koja se smatra najbržim te najefikasnijim. Upravo radi brzine prijevoza, dio teretnog prometa obavlja se upravo putem zračnog prometa. Pandemija koronavirusa predstavlja ozbiljnu prijetnju javnom zdravlju. Uvođenje mjera ograničenja kretanja kao i ostale koordinirane te vrlo restriktivne mjere nužne su kako bi se spasili životi. Problematika se javlja s obzirom na činjenicu da se navedenim mjerama ozbiljno narušava gospodarstvo te dolazi do isporuka različitih bitnih proizvoda i usluga. Pandemija koronavirusa stoga je uvelike utjecala kako na europski, tako i na svjetski zrakoplovni sektor. U skladu sa pravilima Europske unije, države članice su poduzimale te i dalje poduzimaju različite mjere koje su nužne kako bi se uspješno zaustavilo širenje bolesti. Isporuke tereta zračnim putem i dalje su iznimno važne za Europu. Iz tog razloga Europska je komisija 26. ožujka 2020. godine izdala smjernice za nastavak potpore operacijama zračnog prijevoza tereta. Među navedenim, usmjeren je poziv članicama da se dodjele prava privremenog prometovanja za dodatne operacije prijevoza tereta koji dolazi izvan Europske unije na koja bi se inače primjenjivala ograničenja. Temeljni cilj ovog rada je, na temelju prikupljenih sekundarnih i primarnih podataka, analizirati utjecaj koronavirusa na tržište zračnog prijevoza tereta. Kako bi se ostvario postavljeni cilj, provest će se i sekundarno istraživanje.

Abstract (english)

Air traffic is the type of traffic that is considered the fastest and most efficient. Precisely because of the speed of transport, part of the freight traffic is done by air. The corona virus pandemic poses a serious threat to public health. The introduction of restrictions on movement as well as other coordinated and very restrictive measures are necessary to save lives. The problem arises due to the fact that these measures are seriously disrupting the economy and delays in the delivery of various essential products and services. The corona virus pandemic has therefore greatly affected both the European and global aviation sectors. In accordance with the rules of the European Union, Member States have taken and are taking various measures necessary to successfully stop the spread of the disease. Air freight deliveries remain extremely important for Europe. For this reason, on 26 March 2020, the European Commission issued guidelines for continued support for air cargo operations. Among these, a call was made for members to grant temporary traffic rights for additional freight operations coming from outside the European Union to which restrictions would otherwise apply. The basic goal of this paper is, based on the collected secondary and primary data, to analyze the impact of coronavirus on the air cargo market. In order to achieve the set goal, secondary research will be conducted.
