Abstract

Tekstilna industrija jedna je od glavnih svjetskih industrija. Ona ispunjava jednu od osnovnih ljudskih potreba – potrebu za odijevanjem. U današnjem globaliziranom svijetu, tekstilna industrija, te njezin najveći segment - modna industrija, stavljene su pred ogroman izazov – kako udovoljiti svim kriterijima održivog razvoja uz nastavak uspješnog poslovanja. U ovome radu namjerava se zorno prikazati koncept održivog razvoja kroz sve njegove bitne komponente. Kroz analizu obilježja i razvoja tekstilne industrije, donijet će se potrebni zaključci za daljnju analizu sadašnjih trendova i modela prisutnih na tržištu industrije, s ciljem prikaza koncepta održivog razvoja u tekstilnoj industriji pomoću njegove ekonomske, ekološke i socijalne dimenzije. Primjenom metode studije slučaja koncepta održivog razvoja na primjeru jednog od najvećih modnih poduzeća na svijetu prikazat će se način implementacije svih smjernica održivog razvoja kroz cjelovito upravljanje poduzećem.

Abstract (english)

The textile industry is one of the largest global industries. It satisfies one of the basic human needs – the need to wear clothes. In the globalized world the textile industry and its biggest segment, the fashion industry, have an enormous challenge ahead of them – how to fulfil all the criteria of sustainable development while continuing to achieve favorable business results. In this paper the concept of sustainable development will be described through all its components. Through analysis of the key features and development of the textile industry, conclusions will be brought to be used for further analysis of current trends and market models, with the goal of describing the concept of sustainable development in the textile industry through its economical, ecological and social dimensions. An example of implementation of sustainable development will be shown in the case study of one of the world’s leading fashion companies.
