Abstract

O ovom se radu objašnjava koncept energetske tranzicije i način njenog provođenja na primjeru Velike Britanije. Prvotno se analizira energetska politika i proces dekarbonizacije gospodarstva, kao i novi model energetskog tržišta do kojeg je došlo zbog takozvane Industrije 4.0. Nakon toga se analiziraju važni pokazatelji koji čine energetsko tržište, poput proizvodnje i potrošnje primarne i finalne energije, ali i britanski elektronenergetski sustav te način na koji je cijena električne energije sastavljena. Zatim se analiziraju glavne odrednice, odnosno determinante energetske tranzicije, poput emisija stakleničkih plinova, klimatskih promjena te prometnog sustava i načina na koji se prometni sustav mijenja. U posljednjem se poglavlju nalaze rezultati energetske tranzicije u Velikoj Britaniji koji su prikazani pomoću promjene u BDP-u, potrošnji primarne i finalne energije, ali i potencijalnim trendovima u budućnosti. Rad završava zaključkom autora.

Abstract (english)

This paper explains the concept of energy transition and its implementation in Great Britain. The first chapter contains the analysis of the energy policy and the process of decarbonization, as well as the analysis of the new model of the energy market which has emerged due to the so-called Industry 4.0. After that, important indicators that make up the energy market are analyzed, such as the primary and final energy production and consumption, but also the British power system and the way the electricity price is composed. Then, the main determinants of the energy transition, such as, greenhouse gas emissions, climate change and the transport system, as well as how the transport system has changed are analyzed. The last chapter presents the results of the energy transition in Great Britain, which are presented using changes in GDP, primary and final energy consumption, but also potential trends in the future. The paper end with the author’s conclusion.
