Abstract

Poduzetništvo kao jedan od najvažnijih faktora u pokretanju ekonomskog i gospodarskog rasta u svim državama svijeta ima značajnu ulogu u stvaranju novih poslovnih mogućnosti za građane kao i za poboljšanje njihovog životnog standarda. Težnja za pokretanjem vlastitog poslovanja sve više raste među pojedincima, a zbog nepredvidivosti tržišta rada pojedinci se sve više okreću vlastitom stvaranju i ostvarivanju u poslovnom svijetu. Cilj ovog rada je ispitati posjeduju li pojedinci različitih karakteristika interes prema upuštanju u poduzetničke aktivnosti odnosno istražiti njihove sklonosti na temelju različitih teza te dobiti uvid u razloge zbog kojih bi pokrenuli vlastito poslovanje i koje prepreke im stoje na putu prema realizaciji njihove ideje. Istraživanje za potrebe ovog rada provedeno je u lipnju i srpnju 2021. godine u obliku anketnog upitnika na uzorku od 108 ispitanika. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su kako postoji veliko zanimanje kod pojedinaca za pokretanje vlastitog posla. Najviše ispitanika kao glavni razlog za upuštanje u poduzetničke aktivnosti navodi veću mogućnost iskorištavanja vlastitih kapaciteta te financijsku neovisnost. Najveću prepreku u ostvarenju njihovog cilja predstavlja im strah od gubitka uloženog kapitala. Veliki broj ispitanika smatra da u Hrvatskoj ne vlada dobra poduzetnička klima. Također, veliki broj ispitanika smatra kako obrazovni sustav u Republici Hrvatskoj ne potiče dovoljno mlade na poduzetništvo i razvoj novih ideja. Stečeni stupanj obrazovanja važan je čimbenik u budućoj karijeri mladih osoba, ali i ostalih generacija. Zaključak je kako je o poduzetništvu potrebno u većoj mjeri educirati stanovništvo te promovirati načine ulaska u poduzetništvo za mlade poduzetnike koji predstavljaju budućnost.

Abstract (english)

Entrepreneurship as one of the most important factors in driving economic and economic growth in all countries of the world has a significant role in creating new business opportunities for citizens as well as for improving their living standards. The desire to start their own business is growing among individuals, and due to the unpredictability of the labor market, individuals are increasingly turning to their own creation and realization in the business world. The aim of this paper is to examine individuals with an interest in starting entrepreneurial activities, ie to investigate their preferences based on various theses to gain insight into the reasons why they started their own business and what obstacles stand in the way of their ideas. The research for the purposes of this paper was proven in June and July 2021 in the form of a survey questionnaire on a sample of 108 respondents. The results of the research showed that there is a great interest among individuals to start their own business. Most respondents cite a greater possibility of using their own capacities and financial independence as the main reason for starting entrepreneurial activities. The biggest obstacle in achieving their goal is the fear of losing invested capital. A large number of respondents believe that the government in Croatia does not have a good entrepreneurial climate. Also, a large number of respondents believe that the education system in the Republic of Croatia does not encourage enough young people to become entrepreneurs and develop new ideas. The acquired level of education is an important factor in the future career of young people, but also of other generations. Finally, we conclude that entrepreneurship needs to present and educate the population to a greater extent and promote ways to enter entrepreneurship for young entrepreneurs who represent the future.
