Abstract

Pandemija izazvana virusom COVID-19 utjecala je na naš svakodnevni život. Izbijanje bolesti izazvalo je poremećaje znatnih razmjera u svjetskom gospodarstvu, što je dovelo do velikih recesija u mnogim zemljama. Negativne posljedice utjecale su na poslovanje svih subjekata, a najveće promjene zahvatile su mikro, mala i srednja poduzeća. Kako bi nastavili svoje poslovanje, subjekti malog gospodarstva moraju prilagoditi poslovanje novonastaloj krizi, te prihvatiti nove trendove koji su neophodni za normalno funkcioniranje sustava. Prilikom pružanja otpora i održavanja likvidnosti poduzeća, veliku ulogu imaju financijske institucije, kao i potpore Vlade Republike Hrvatske i Europske unije. Svojim djelovanjem osiguravaju novčana sredstava najpogođenijim sektorima u kojima je poslovanje obustavljeno zbog donesenih mjera radi sprječavanja širenje zaraze. Sukladno tome, u radu će biti prikazan utjecaj globalne pandemije na poslovanje poduzeća u Hrvatskoj, te utjecaj na ekonomske pokazatelje. Za potrebe rada analizirat će se mjere i potpore koje poduzećima nude Vlada Republike Hrvatske i Europska Komisija.

Abstract (english)

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected our daily lives. The outbreak of the disease has caused disruptions of considerable proportions in the world economy, leading to major recessions in many countries. Negative consequences affected the business of all entities, and the most affected are micro, small, and medium enterprises. In order to continue their business, small businesses entities are forced to accept new trends, which are necessary for the normal functioning of the system. Financial institutions, the Government of the Republic of Croatia, and the European Union play important roles in providing resistance and maintaining the liquidity of companies. Through their activities, they provide funds to the most affected sectors, in which operations have been suspended due to measures taken to prevent the spread of infection. Accordingly, the paper will explain the impact of the global pandemic on business operations in Croatia, and the impact on economic indicators. For the purposes of this paper, the measures and grants offered to companies by the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the European Commission will be analyzed.
