Abstract

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada jest prikazati način na koji razvoj digitalnih tehnologija potencijalno može pozitivno utjecati na izjednačavanje ponude i potražnje na tržištu rada. Napredak u informacijsko-komunikacijskim tehnologijama u posljednja dva desetljeća značajno je utjecao na kvalitetu života. Ponajviše se za to može zahvaliti pojavi i popularizaciji pametnih telefona. Omogućen je gotovo neograničen pristup informacijama bez obzira na lokaciju te komunikacija nikada nije bila jeftinija niti jednostavnija. Internet je postao svakodnevica, nešto bez čega je teško zamisliti civilizaciju. Brojne industrije prihvatile su napredak te je velik broj usluga sada dostupan na dlanu. Bilo da se radi o internet bankarstvu, oglasnicima ili uslugama dostave, sve je to podiglo kvalitetu života. Jedna od industrija koja je svakako napredovala u zadnjih dvadesetak godina jest i regrutacija. Relativno nedavno, regruteri su posezali za telefonskim imenicima kako bi pronašli adekvatne kandidate za svoje klijente. Danas se većina tog posla odvija na poslovnim društvenim mrežama kao što je LinkedIn. Međutim, iako se kvaliteta posla svakako poboljšala, i dalje postoji prostor za napredak. U radu su obrađene neke od najzanimljivijih novih tehnologija koje bi podigle industriju na višu razinu: računarstvo u oblaku, veliki podaci te umjetna inteligencija. Također je predstavljena i ideja cjelokupne platforme za izravno povezivanje poslodavaca i potencijalnih zaposlenika koja bi bila dostupna putem web stranice i mobilne aplikacije. Naravno, provedeno je i empirijsko istraživanje kojim se željela ispitati otvorenost potencijalnih korisnika ka novim rješenjima.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this thesis is to show the way in which the development of digital technologies can potentially have a positive impact on the equalization of supply and demand in the labor market. Advances in information and communication technologies in the last two decades have significantly affected the quality of life. This is mostly due to the emergence and popularization of smartphones. Almost unlimited access to information is provided regardless of location, and communication has never been cheaper or easier. The Internet has become commonplace, something without which it is difficult to imagine civilization. Numerous industries have embraced progress and a large number of services are now available in the palm of your hand. Whether it is internet banking, classifieds or delivery services, it has all improved the quality of life. One of the industries that has certainly progressed in the last twenty years is recruitment. Relatively recently, recruiters have resorted to telephone directories to find adequate candidates for their clients. Today, most of that work takes place on business social networks like LinkedIn. However, although the quality of work has certainly improved, there is still room for further improvement. This paper deals with some of the most interesting new technologies that would raise the industry to a higher level: cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence. The idea of a complete platform for direct connection of employers and potential employees, which would be available via the website and mobile application, was also presented. Of course, an empirical study was conducted to examine the openness of potential users to new solutions.
