Abstract

Nabava kao poslovna funkcija uvrštava se u jedne od najvažnijih poslovnih funkcija poduzeća. Težnja poduzeća da ostvare što bolje pozicije na tržištu rezultira traženjem načina kako da optimiziraju svoje poslovanje u svrhu smanjenja troškova i sposobnosti da ponude što bolju uslugu. Cilj diplomskog rada je istražiti kako se nabavom kvalitetno upravlja, zašto se velike kompanije u strateškoj nabavi često odlučuju za outsourcing i formiranje centara za dijeljenje resursa te na koji način takav pristup smanjuje troškove poslovanja i omogućuje postizanje boljeg poslovnog rezultata. Nakon provedene analize nabave na primjeru IBM-ovog strateškog pristupa nabavi putem centra za dijeljenje resursa, zaključuje se da bi proces nabave bio što učinkovitiji te kako bi se njime strateško upravljalo i time podigla konkurentnost poslovanja, se danas brojna poduzeća za pojedine funkcije u nabavi koriste outsourcingom. Na taj način smanjuju troškove i podižu kvalitetu te time ušteđen novac i ljudske resurse mogu koristiti za neke druge poslovne pothvate.

Abstract (english)

Procurement as a business function is one of the most important business functions of the company and the fact that companies strive to achieve the best possible market position and are looking for ways to optimize their business in order to reduce costs and the ability to offer the best service. The aim of the thesis is to investigate how procurement is well managed, why large companies in strategic procurement often decide to outsource and form resource sharing centers, and how such an approach reduces business costs and enables better business results. After conducting a procurement analysis on the example of IBM's strategic approach to procurement through a resource sharing center, it is concluded that the procurement process would be as efficient as possible and to strategically manage it and thus increase business competitiveness, today many companies use certain functions in procurement outsourcing. In this way, they reduce costs and raise quality, thus saving the money and human resources they can used for some other business ventures.
