Abstract

Prehrambena industrija jedna je od vodećih industrijskih grana u Republici Hrvatskoj. Regionalni lider prehrambene industrije je Grupa Vindija koja obuhvaća 14 poduzeća od kojih je jedno Koka d.d. čije će se poslovanje analizirati u ovom radu. Poduzeće Koka d.d. je osnovano 1961. godine i danas je najveći hrvatski proizvođač pilića, svježeg pilećeg mesa i prerađevina od pilećeg mesa. Svoje proizvode poduzeće plasira na tržište pod poznatom robnom markom Cekin. Poduzeće Koka d.d. izabrano je za analizu jer predstavlja primjer uspješnog poduzeća iz prehrambene industrije te je cilj rada iznijeti ocjenu poslovanja i analizirati čimbenike uspješnosti poslovanja poduzeća Koka d.d. korištenjem odabranih alata poslovne analize. Rad će započeti sa teorijskim pregledom tematike rada, konkretno definiranjem pojmova poslovne analize i elemenata poslovne analize nakon čega će slijediti analiza poslovanja poduzeća Koka d.d. koja će se provesti analizom vanjskog okruženja, PESTLE analizom i modelom Porterovih pet sila. Analiza financijske situacije poduzeća provest će se analizom financijskih izvještaja te upotrebom odabranih financijskih pokazatelja. Analiza će se provesti za razdoblje od 2015. do 2019. godine. Dobiveni rezultati uspješnosti poduzeća usporediti će se s konkurentskim poduzećem Perutnina Ptuj – Pipo d.o.o.za proizvodnju i trgovinu. Za kraj će se provesti zaključak financijske analize poduzeća Koka d.d. koji će pružiti sliku uspješnosti poslovanja poduzeća.

Abstract (english)

The food industry is one of the leading industries in the Republic of Croatia. The regional leader of the food industry is the Vindija Group, which includes 14 companies. One of them is Koka d.d. whose business will be analyzed in this paper. Koka d.d. was founded in 1961 and today is the largest Croatian producer of chicken, fresh chicken meat and chicken products. The company markets its products under the well-known Cekin brand. Koka d.d. was chosen for analysis because it is an example of a successful company in the food industry and the aim of the paper is to evaluate the business and analyze the success factors of the company Koka d.d. using selected business analysis tools. The paper will begin with a theoretical overview of the topic of the paper, specifically by defining the concepts of business analysis and elements of business analysis It will be followed by an analysis of the business of company Koka d.d. which will be conducted by external environment analysis. External environment analysis will be performed by PESTLE analysis and Porter’s five forces model. The analysis of the financial situation of the company will be carried out by analyzing the financial statements and using selected financial indicators. The analysis will be conducted for the period from 2015 to 2019. The obtained results of the company's success will be compared with the competing company Perutnina Ptuj - Pipo d.o.o. for production and trade. The paper will end with conclusion of the financial analysis of Koka d.d. which will provide a picture of the business performance of the company.
