Abstract

COVID-19 je virus koji se pojavio krajem 2019. godine u Kini te se ubrzo proširio svijetom
što odgovara definicije pandemije. Smatra se da je pandemija utjecala na ekonomiju na tri
načina: izravnim utjecajem na proizvodnju (ponudu), stvaranjem poremećaja na tržištu i
financijskim utjecajem na poduzeća i tržišta. Iako je pandemija negativno utjecala na gotovo
sve sektore gospodarstva, online trgovina doživjela je rast i napredak. Iako je online trgovina
naglo rasla i prije početka pandemije, ograničenja mobilnosti nametnutih sa ciljem smanjenja
zaraze rezultirale su dominacijom ovog oblika trgovine. Iz tog razloga trgovinama su
nametnuti zahtjevi za brzom prilagodbom i integracijom digitalnih tehnologija u maloprodaji i
poslovanju te su čimbenici lanca opskrbe, nestašice i skokovi potražnje pridonijeli naglom
povećanju internetskih cijena. Cilj ovog rada bio je dati pregled literature o online trgovini
tijekom pandemije Covid-19 te potkrijepiti teoriju primjerima iz praksa na području
Republike Hrvatske za što su korišteni primjeri tvrtki Konzum, Glovo, Wolt i Annona.

Abstract (english)

COVID-19 is a virus that appeared at the end of 2019 in China and soon spread around the
world, which corresponds to the definition of a pandemic. The pandemic is thought to have
affected the economy in three ways: by directly affecting production (supply), by creating
market disruptions, and by financially affecting businesses and markets. Although the
pandemic has negatively affected almost all sectors of the economy, online commerce has
experienced growth and progress. Although online commerce grew sharply even before the
pandemic began, mobility restrictions imposed with the aim of reducing infection resulted in
the dominance of this form of commerce. For this reason, demands have been imposed on
stores to quickly adapt and integrate digital technologies in retail and business, and supply
chain factors, shortages and spikes in demand have contributed to the sharp rise in Internet
prices. The aim of this paper was to review the literature on online commerce during the
Covid-19 pandemic and to support the theory with examples from practice in the Republic of
Croatia, for which the examples of Konzum, Glovo, Wolt and Annona were used.
