Abstract

Suvremena poduzeća suočavaju se sa svakodnevnim izazovima i moraju biti iznimno spremna brzo se prilagoditi novonastalim situacijama. U okruženju nastalom kao posljedica širenja pandemije virusa COVID-19, ova je teza posebno naglašena. Predmet ovog rada je strategijska analiza poduzeća Valamar Riviera d.d.. Cilj rada je, na temeljnu detaljne dijagnostičke analize, utvrditi moguće buduće strategijske korake poduzeća Valamar Riviera d.d. s ciljem opstanka poduzeća u dugom roku. Izvori koji su korišteni prilikom pisanja diplomskog rada obuhvaćaju relevantnu znanstvenu i stručnu literaturu te pretraživanje putem interneta. Znanstvene metode koje su korištene prilikom izrade rada jesu: metode deskripcije, metoda kompilacije, metoda prikupljanja podataka, obrade podataka, te tabelarnog prikazivanja dobivenih rezultata. Na temelju dijagnostičke analize, a prema modelu generičkih strategija, prikladna generička strategija daljnjeg poslovanja poduzeća je strategija kvalitativne diferencijacije kojom poduzeće može ostvariti konkurentsku prednost i učvrstiti vlastitu tržišnu poziciju.

Abstract (english)

Modern companies face everyday challenges and must be extremely ready to adapt quickly to new situations. In the environment created by the spread of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, this thesis is particularly emphasized. The subject of this paper is the strategic analysis of Valamar Riviera d.d.. The aim of this paper is, based on a detailed diagnostic analysis, to determine possible future strategic steps of Valamar Riviera d.d. with the aim of surviving the company in the long run. Sources used in writing the thesis include relevant scientific and professional literature and Internet search. The scientific methods used in the preparation of the paper are: methods of description, method of compilation, method of data collection, data processing, and tabulation of the obtained results. Based on diagnostic analysis, and according to the model of generic strategies, an appropriate generic strategy of further business of the company is a strategy of qualitative differentiation by which the company can achieve a competitive advantage and strengthen its own market position.
