Abstract

Izvoz kao oblik izlaska poduzeća na međunarodna tržišta bitan je dio nacionalnog gospodarsta Republike Hrvatske. U 2020. godini u cijelom svijetu vidi se utjecaj pandemije COVID-19, koja nije utjecala samo na ljude već je uzdrmala i čitavo gospodarstvo. Ovaj diplomski rad u istraživačkom djelu odnosi se na utjecaj pandemije COVID-19 na izvozne aktivnosti u hotelskim poduzećima u Republici Hrvatskoj. Pomoću financijskih izvještaja, koji su odraz uspješnosti poslovanja poduzeća, dobivene su potrebne informacije za uvid poslovanja odabranih hotela na Jadrasnkoj obali. Navedena analiza se provodi za razdoblje prije pandemije i razdoblje za vrijeme pandemije, odnosno za 2019. i 2020. godinu. Analizom financijskih izvještaja i komparativnim prikazom odabranih hotela stvara se zaključak o utjecaju pandemije COVIDA-19 na njihovo poslovanje.

Abstract (english)

Export as a form of entering the international market is an important part of national economy of the Republic of Croatia. In 2020, COVID-19 pandemic did not only affect people, but it has impacted the whole world economy. Research in this master thesis will focus on the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on export activities in hospitality in the Republic of Croatia. With the help of financial statements which are the key indicators of company performance, necessary information has been obtained for business insight in selected hotels on the Adriatic coast. The analysis in this thesis is conducted for the period before and during pandemic, i.e. for 2019 and 2020. Conclusion about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on business performance is based on analysis of financial statements and comparative analysis of selected hotels.
