Abstract

Predmet istraživanja ovog diplomskog rada je prikaz specifičnosti financijskog izvještavanja otvorenih investicijskih fondova. Tržište investicijskih fondova u Hrvatskoj sve više sazrijeva s obzirom na dolazak iskusnih ulagača iz Europske unije. No s dolaskom Covid 19 pandemije sva tržišta su jako volatilna i sklona oscilacijama pa tako i tržište investicijskih fondova. Cilj rada je prikazati koje specifičnosti razlikuju financijske izvještaje otvorenih investicijskih fondova s javnom ponudom, odnosno UCITS fondova od financijskih izvještaja ostalih financijskih institucija. Prikazan je odnos između UCITS fondova i društva za upravljanje investicijskim fondovima koje upravlja fondom te je dužno sastavljati i objavljivati financijske izvještaje fonda. Temeljni izvještaji namijenjeni izvještavanju HANFA-e prikazani su u propisanim oblicima te se navode njihove temeljne stavke. U radu su definirani Međunarodni standardi financijskog izvještavanja 9 i 7 te njihova primjena u sastavljanu financijskih izvještaja. Rad analizira temeljne godišnje financijske izvještaje, odnosno izvještaj o financijskom položaju, izvještaj o sveobuhvatnoj dobiti, izvještaj o novčanim tokovima te izvještaj o promjenama u neto imovini fonda InterCapital Bond investicijskog fonda za 2019. i 2020. godinu. U analizi su istaknute promjene u izvještajima 2020. godine kao rezultata Covid 19 pandemije. Osim pandemije koja je utjecala na volatilnost tržišta i otežala investiranje, analiza se dotiče i utjecaja geopolitičke situacije 2022. godine na investicije samog fonda. Oštrija politika Europske Centralne Banke također uzrokuje pad na europskom obvezničkom tržištu.

Abstract (english)

The subject of research of this diploma thesis is the presentation of the specifics of financial reporting of open-end investment funds. The investment fund market in Croatia is maturing more and more with the arrival of experienced investors from the European Union. But with the advent of the Covid 19 pandemic, all markets are highly volatile and prone to oscillations, including the investment fund market. The aim of this paper is to show which specifics distinguish the financial statements of open-end investment funds with public offering, ie UCITS funds from the financial statements of other financial institutions. The relationship between UCITS funds and the investment fund management company that manages the fund is presented, and it is obliged to compile and publish the financial statements of the fund. The basic reports intended for HANFA reporting are presented in the prescribed formats and their basic items are stated. The paper defines International Financial Reporting Standards 9 and 7 and their application in the preparation of financial statements. The paper analyzes the basic annual financial statements, ie the statement of financial position, the statement of comprehensive income, the statement of cash flows and the statement of changes in net assets of the InterCapital Bond Investment Fund for 2019 and 2020. The analysis highlighted changes in 2020 reports as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic. In addition to the pandemic that affected market volatility and hampered investment, the analysis also touches on the impact of the geopolitical situation in 2022 on the fund's own investments. The tougher policies of the European Central Bank are also causing a decline in the European bond market.
