Abstract

Oblikovanje strukture kapitala od velike je važnosti za sva poduzeća s obzirom da odluke o samoj strukturi kapitala utječu na buduće financijske i ekonomske aspekte poslovanja i uspješnosti poduzeća. Profitabilnost je jedan od najbitnijih pojmova pri korporativnom izvještavanju koji se koristi u svrhu mjerenja uspješnosti i sposobnosti poduzeća te očekivanih izgleda uspješnosti poslovanja u budućnosti. Raznim pokazateljima mjeri se profitabilnost i zaduženost poduzeća, a njihova međuovisnost i odnos predmet je brojnih istraživanja još od inicijalnog rada nobelovaca Modigliani i Millera (1958). Predmet ovog rada je analiza utjecaja strukture kapitala na uspješnost poslovanja poduzeća. Cilj rada jest regresijskom analizom istražiti utjecaj financijske poluge na profitabilnost odabranih poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj. Za analizu utjecaja financijske poluge na profitabilnost poduzeća provest će se regresijska analiza na odabranim poduzećima prerađivačke industrije u RH za razdoblje od 2015. do 2019. godine.

Abstract (english)

The capital structure is an important part for all companies, given that decisions on the capital structure itself affect the future financial and economic aspects of the company's business and performance. Profitability is one of the most important terms in corporate reporting that is used to measure the performance and capabilities of a company and the expected prospects of business success in the future. Various indicators measure the profitability and indebtedness of companies, and their interdependence and relationship has been the subject of numerous studies since the initial work of Nobel laureates Modigliani and Miller (1958). The subject of this paper is the analysis of the impact of capital structure on business performance. The aim of this paper is to investigate the impact of financial leverage on the profitability of selected companies in the Republic of Croatia. To analyze the impact of financial leverage on the profitability of companies, a regression analysis will be conducted on selected companies in the manufacturing industry in the Republic of Croatia for the period from 2015 to 2019.
