Abstract

Radna snaga i poslovno okruženje današnjice dinamičniji su i raznolikiji nego ikad prije. Različiti novi oblici rada i ubrzana digitalizacija samo su neke od novina s kojima se velik broj zaposlenika suočava ili će se tek suočiti u bliskoj budućnosti. U takvim uvjetima potrebno je sagledati perspektivu zaposlenika te se upoznati s njihovim potrebama, željama i preferencijama kako bi se stvorilo pozitivno, ali i učinkovito radno okruženje. Umjesto potrage i privlačenja već dokazanih i iskusnih vođa i menadžera ili unaprjeđenja vlastitih, poduzeća bi fokus trebala preusmjeriti upravo na one zaposlenike koje će ti vođe voditi, a to su sljedbenici. Kada se još uzme u obzir da u poduzeću ili čak na istom radnom mjestu potencijalno mogu raditi zaposlenici nekoliko različitih generacija koji svi imaju različit način rada, radnu etiku, ponašanje i uvjerenja, tada postaje jasno koliko je važno proučiti njihove različitosti kako bi se njima uspješno upravljalo.

Abstract (english)

Today's workforce and business environment are more dynamic and diverse than ever before. Various new forms of work and accelerated digitization are just some of the novelties that a large number of employees are facing or will be facing in the near future. In such conditions, it is necessary to look at the employees' perspective and get to know their needs, wishes and preferences in order to create a positive and efficient working environment. Instead of searching for and attracting already proven and experienced leaders and managers or improving their own, companies should shift their focus to those employees who will be led by these leaders, namely the followers. When it is also taken into account that employees of several different generations can potentially work in a company or even in the same workplace, all of whom have different ways of working, work ethics, behavior and beliefs, then it becomes clear how important it is to study their differences in order to manage them successfully.
