Abstract

FinTech, odnosno financijska tehnologija, odnosi se na svaku upotrebu tehnologije i inovacija u financijskom sektoru. Razvoj tehnologije značajno doprinosi efikasnosti i profitabilnosti svih sektora gospodarstva. FinTech omogućuje unaprjeđenje dosadašnjih procesa u financijskom sektoru kroz implementiranje novih sustava, procesa i poslovnih modela. S obzirom na sve veću prisutnost FinTech-a, važno je analizirati i sistematizirati dosadašnje informacije o njegovoj ulozi u ključnim granama financijskog sektora poput bankarstva, osiguranja i eksternog financiranja. Zahvaljujući globalnoj digitalizaciji dolazi do sve bržeg razvoja financijskih inovacija u svijetu, pa tako i u Hrvatskoj. Osim implementiranja globalnih FinTech rješenja, u Hrvatskoj također dolazi do razvoja lokalnih FinTech proizvoda.

Abstract (english)

FinTech, or financial technology, refers to any use of technology and innovation in the financial sector. The development of technology significantly contributes to the efficiency and profitability of all sectors of the economy. FinTech enables the improvement of existing processes in the financial sector through the implementation of new systems, processes and business models. Considering the increasing presence of FinTech, it is important to analyze and systematize the current information about its role in key branches of the financial sector such as banking, insurance and external financing. Thanks to global digitization, there is an increasingly rapid development of financial innovations in the world, including in Croatia. In addition to the implementation of global FinTech solutions, local FinTech products are also being developed in Croatia.
