Abstract

Modna industrija jedna je od glavnih svjetskih industrija kada se uzme u obzir njezin doprinos globalnom rastu gospodarstva. To je ujedno i jedna od najstarijih svjetskih industrija te je kroz povijest imala važnu ulogu u evoluciji čovječanstva te kulturnom i društvenom okolišu. Zbog svega navedenoga, u kontekstu održivog razvoja, obilježava ju kompleksna veza s ekonomijom, ekologijom i društvom. Poslovni modeli prisutni na tržištu modne industrije su poslovni modeli brze i spore mode. Cilj rada je na temelju analize ekonomske, socijalne i ekološke dimenzije poslovanja zaključiti o stupnju održivosti navedenih poslovnih modela. Primjenom metode studije slučaja na primjeru jednog od poduzeća koje uspješno implementira model cirkularne ekonomije u svoje poslovanje te na temelju toga ostvaruje konkurentske prednosti prikazat će se važnost implementacije svih smjernica održivog razvoja u poslovanje poduzeća modne industrije.

Abstract (english)

The fashion industry is one of the world's major industries when considering its contribution to global economic growth. It is also one of the world's oldest industries and throughout history has played an important role in the evolution of humanity and the cultural and social environment. Because of all the above, in the context of sustainable development, complex connections with the economy, ecology and society are marked. Business models present on the fashion industry market are business models of fast and slow fashion. The aim of the paper is to conclude on the level of sustainability of the mentioned business models based on the analysis of the economic, social and ecological dimensions of business. By applying the case study method on the example of one of the companies that successfully implements the circular economy model in their business and achieves competitive advantages, the importance of implementing all guidelines of sustainable development in the business of fashion industry companies will be shown.
