Abstract

Posljednjih desetljeća došlo je do raznih znanstvenih otkrića u novim oblicima tehnologije. Tako se kao jedno od izrazito bitnih područja pojavila i umjetna inteligencija. Njena implementacija sve je češća u svim područjima poslovanja. Još tijekom prošloga stoljeća pokrenulo se pitanje autonomnih vozila koja će donijeti revoluciju u ovoj industriji. Ova vozila funkcioniraju pomoću umjetne inteligencije te je njihov cilj potpuno zamijeniti čovjeka kao osobe koja upravlja vozilom. Upravo se zato ovaj rad bavi primjenom umjetne inteligencije u autonomnim vozilima kako bi se pobliže objasnio utjecaj umjetne inteligencije i njenih metoda učenja koje se koriste u proizvodnji ovakvih vrsta vozila. Veliki udio ljudske populacije još uvijek nije u potpunosti upoznat s funkcionalnostima koje ova tehnologija nudi. Stoga je za potrebe pisanja ovoga rada provedeno istraživanje kako bi se ispitala razmišljanja ljudi o ovakvoj vrsti vozila koja će se sve više početi primjenjivati u budućnosti. Mišljenja ljudi, kao najvažnijih sudionika u prometu, vrlo su važna kako bi se na najbolji mogući način autonomna vozila prilagodila njima. Iako prema rezultatima istraživanja ispitanici većim dijelom ne vjeruju u potpuni prelazak na autonomna vozila u budućnosti, mnoga znanstvena predviđanja tvrde suprotno.

Abstract (english)

In recent decades, there have been various scientific discoveries in new forms of technology. Thus, artificial intelligence emerged as one of the extremely important areas. Its implementation is increasingly common in all areas of business. During the last century, the issue of autonomous vehicles that will revolutionize this industry has been launched. These vehicles operate with artificial intelligence and their aim is to fully replace human beings as the person driving the vehicle. This is precisely why this thesis deals with the application of artificial intelligence in autonomous vehicles in order to explain in more detail the impact of artificial intelligence and its learning methods used in the production of these types of vehicles. A large part of the human population is still not fully familiar with the functionalities that this technology offers. Therefore, for the purposes of writing this thesis, research was conducted to examine people's thoughts about this type of vehicle, which will be increasingly used in the future. People’s opinions, as the most important traffic participants, are very important in order to adapt autonomous vehicles to them in the best possible way. Although, according to the results of the survey, respondents mostly do not believe in a complete transition to autonomous vehicles in the future, many scientific predictions claim the opposite.
