Abstract

Suvremenim turistima je potrebno pružiti jedinstveno i autentično iskustvo tijekom njihovih godišnjih odmora. Poseban doživljaj kod turista stvara upoznavanje baštine zemlje u kojoj se nalaze. Upravo to stvara enološki turizam jedan nezaobilaznih segmenta strategije razvoja turizma u Hrvatskoj.
U Dalmaciji se javlja višestoljetna tradicija uzgoja vinove loze. Iliri su već u brončanom tj. željeznom dobu poznavali lozu, a dolaskom Rimljana u Dalmaciju vinarstvo je doživjelo svoj procvat. Upravo je Dubrovačka Republika imala veliki utjecaj na razvoj vinogradarstva jer je bila jedna od najvećih trgovačkih i pomorskih središta. Danas se u Dubrovniku mogu kušati i kupiti neka od najkvalitetnijih vina.
Iako je enološka ponuda u Dalmaciji vrlo razvijena, ona se ne stavlja među glavne strategije razvoja hrvatskog turizma. Procvat turizma u hrvatskoj, pa i u svijetu, je donio ogromnu gospodarsku aktivnost sa velikim prihodima, ali i konkurenciju.
Sama ponuda destinacije nije dovoljna nego se mora diferencirati od ostatka dodavanjem različitih elemenata turističke ponude. Upravo to se može omogućiti razvojem enofilskog turizma u Hrvatskoj, ali tome još nije pridan značaj kao što su pridale druge države sa razvijenim vinskim turizmom.

Abstract (english)

Modern tourists need to be provided with a unique and authentic experience during their vacations. Getting to know the heritage of the country in which they vacation in, creates a special experience for tourists. This is exactly what makes wine tourism an indispensable segment of the development strategy in Croatia.
In Dalmatia, there is a centuries-old tradition of growing vines. The Illyrians knew vine already in the Bronze, i.e. Iron Age and with the arrival of the Romans in Dalmatia, winemaking flourished.
It was the Republic of Dubrovnik that had a great influence on the development of viticulture because it was one of the largest commercial and maritime centers. Today in Dubrovnik you can taste and buy some of the best quality wines.
Although the oenological offer in Dalmatia is very developed, it is not included among the main strategies for the development of Croatian tourism. The „boom“ in tourist activity in Croatia, and in the world as well, has brought enormous economic activity with large revenues, but also competition. The destination alone is not enough, it is necessary to differentiate from the rest by adding different elements of tourism offers. This is precisely what can be made possible by the development of wine tourism in Croatia, but it has not yet been given the importance that other world countries have given to the development of wine tourism.
