Abstract

Predmet ovog diplomskog rada je istražiti povezanost zadovoljstva poslom i redizajna posla u IT industriji. Iz rapidnog razvoja IT industrije proizlazi velik interes za ovu temu, a posebno zato što se otvara sve više radnih mjesta za stručnjake u toj industriji. Radna mjesta su specifična u svakoj industriji pa tako i u IT industriji koja ima jedinstveno radno okruženje, zbog čega je potrebno istražiti percepcije zaposlenika, odnosno njihovo zadovoljstvo poslom i poimanje posla. Cilj ovog rada bio je istražiti i na koji način zaposlenici u IT industriji mijenjaju, tj. redizajniraju svoja radna mjesta te u kojoj mjeri je to povezano s njihovim zadovoljstvom poslom. Uz generiranje profita, glavni cilj svake kompanije koja teži uspješnosti poslovanja trebalo bi biti ostvarenje zadovoljstva zaposlenika. Redizajn posla posebno je važan i aktualan za sve zaposlenike iz razloga što im pomaže ostvariti potrebnu motivaciju za uspješno obavljanje posla putem povećanog zadovoljstva posla. Pravilno dizajniranje posla ključan je čimbenik svake kompanije za održavanje niske razine fluktuacije zaposlenika i visoke kvalitete obavljanja posla, što u konačnici dovodi do veće produktivnosti i naprednijeg poslovanja kompanije.

Abstract (english)

The subject of this thesis is to explore the relation between job satisfaction and job redesign in the IT industry. Because of the rapid development IT industry is facing, there is great interest in this topic, especially because more and more jobs are being opened for specialists in that industry. Jobs are specific in every industry, including the IT sector that has a unique work environment, which is why it is necessary to investigate the perceptions of employees, i.e. their job satisfaction and understanding of work. The aim of this paper was to investigate how employees in the IT industry change, i.e. redesign their workplaces and to what extent this is related to their job satisfaction. In addition to generating profit, the main goal of any company that strives for business success should be the achievement of employee satisfaction. Job redesign is particularly important and current for all employees because it helps them achieve the necessary motivation for successful job performance through increased job satisfaction. Proper job design is a key factor in any company for maintaining a low level of employee turnover and high quality of work performance, which ultimately leads to higher productivity and more advanced company operations.
