Abstract

Važnost logistike i logističkih procesa jedan je od najvažnijih čimbenika poslovanja poduzeća. Postizanje zadanih ciljeva, stjecanje konkurentske prednosti te zadovoljavanje potreba kupaca ključni su pokazatelj dobro organizirane logistike. Unikatnost tržišta ribe može se vidjeti u karakteristikama proizvoda i samog tržišta, koje se značajno razlikuje od bilo kojeg drugog tržišta. Stoga, potrebna su temeljita znanja o tržištu i proizvodu kako bi se uspješno stvorile i implementirale logističke aktivnosti. Globalizacija je utjecala na tržište ribe, što dovodi do promjena koje sugeriraju da su riba i riblji proizvodi različitih porijekala sada dostupni na svakome tržištu diljem svijeta što logističke aktivnosti čini iznimno izazovnima. Da bi se adekvatno adresirale specifičnosti logističkih aktivnosti u trgovini ribom, proveden je dubinski intervju s renomiranim stručnjacima iz industrije trgovine ribom. Upravljanje lancem opskrbe u trgovini ribom zahtjeva visoku razinu suradnje i koordinacije među različitim sudionicima tržišta ribom, uključujući ribare, prerađivače, distributere i trgovce na malo. Održavanje kvalitete i sigurnosti proizvoda ključno je u trgovini ribom. Zaključno, logističke aktivnosti u trgovini ribom su izazovne i samo ona poduzeća koja imaju duboko znanje o tržištu i proizvodu mogu učinkovito djelovati u ovom izazovnom okruženju. Istraživanje ističe važnost suradnje, koordinacije i prilagodljivosti u upravljanjem lancu opskrbe te održavanje kvalitete i sigurnosti samoga proizvoda.

Abstract (english)

The importance of logistics and logistical processes is one of the crucial factors in a company's operations. Achieving set goals, gaining a competitive advantage, and meeting customer needs are key indicators of well-organized logistics. The uniqueness of the fish market can be observed in the characteristics of the product and the market itself, which significantly differs from any other market. Therefore, in-depth knowledge of the market and the product is necessary to successfully create and implement logistical activities. Globalization has impacted the fish market, leading to changes that suggest fish and seafood products of various origins are now available in markets worldwide, making logistical activities extremely challenging. To adequately address the specificities of logistical activities in the fish trade, in-depth interviews were conducted with reputable experts in the fish retail industry. Managing the supply chain in the fish trade requires a high level of collaboration and coordination among various stakeholders in the fish market, including fishermen, processors, distributors, and retailers.Maintaining product quality and safety is crucial in the fish trade. In conclusion, logistical activities in the fish trade are challenging, and only companies with deep knowledge of the market and the product can effectively operate in this challenging environment. The research highlights the importance of collaboration, coordination, and adaptability in supply chain management and the maintenance of product quality and safety.
