Abstract

Identifikacija s organizacijom predstavlja specifičan aspekt socijalne identifikacije u kojem pojedinci konstruiraju svoj osobni identitet povezivanjem i izjednačavanjem sa organizacijom u kojoj rade. Organizacija se tretira kao socijalna grupa s karakterističnim svojstvima koja zaposlenici, prilikom identifikacije, usvajaju kao svoja i percipiraju sebe kao personifikaciju same organizacije. Njene su posljedice vidljive u velikom broju poželjnih oblika organizacijskog ponašanja: zaposlenici koji se u većoj mjeri identificiraju s organizacijom u kojoj rade pokazuju veliku otvorenost za ulaganje značajnog napora u korist organizacije i pozitivan stav prema radu, veću radnu motivaciju, prihvaćanje ciljeva i vrijednosti organizacije. Identifikacija s organizacijom pruža organizaciji stvaranje jedinstva i stoga je ključ ostvarivanja organizacijskog uspjeha. Jedan od čimbenika koji utječe na osjećaj pripadnosti i identifikacije s organizacijom je komunikacija. Otvorenost komunikacije može se definirati kao obrasce razmjene poruka koji se odvijaju između nadređenih i podređenih, kao i među kolegama. Otvorenost u komunikaciji između nadređenih i zaposlenih može doprinijeti povećanju samopouzdanja zaposlenika, budući da će se u takvim situacijama osjećati cijenjeno. Otvorenost komunikacije važna je za učinkovito donošenje odluka. Također, istraživanja su pokazala da otvorena komunikacija pozitivno korelira sa radnom angažiranošću u organizaciji, zadovoljstvom na poslu, razumijevanjem uloge u organizaciji i primanje točnih informacija. U sklopu ovog diplomskog rada provedeno je empirijsko istraživanje s ciljem utvrđivanja povezanosti otvorenosti komunikacije i identifikacije s organizacijom. Prikupljeni su podatci od 65 ispitanika, a rezultati su pokazali kako postoji pozitivna korelacija između otvorenosti u komunikaciji i identifikacije s organizacijom. Drugim riječima, povećanjem komunikacijske otvorenosti u organizacije povećati će se i identifikacija zaposlenika s organizacijom.

Abstract (english)

Identification with the organization represents a specific aspect of social identification in which individuals construct their personal identity by connecting and aligning themselves with the organization they work for. The organization is treated as a social group with distinctive attributes that employees adopt as their own during identification, perceiving themselves as a personification of the organization itself. Its consequences are visible in a multitude of desirable forms of organizational behavior: employees who identify more with the organization they work for exhibit a greater willingness to invest significant effort for the benefit of the organization, a positive attitude towards work, higher work motivation, acceptance of the organization's goals and values. Identification with the organization allows the organization to establish unity and is therefore key to achieving organizational success. One of the factors influencing the sense of belonging and identification with the organization is communication. Openness in communication can be defined as patterns of message exchange that occur between superiors and subordinates, as well as among colleagues. Open communication between superiors and employees can contribute to increased employee self-confidence, as they will feel valued in such situations. Open communication is important for effective decision-making. Additionally, research has shown that open communication positively correlates with work engagement in the organization, job satisfaction, understanding of one's role in the organization, and receiving accurate information. Within the scope of this thesis, an empirical study was conducted to determine the relationship between communication openness and organizational identification. ata were collected from 65 participants, and the results indicated a positive correlation between communication openness and organizational identification. In other words, increasing communication openness within an organization will also increase employees' identification with the organization.
