Abstract

Uz sve veću važnost i globalizaciju zračnog prometa, trgovci na malo počinju mijenjati način na koji razmišljaju o zračnim lukama, a za njihov posao to je važan dio cijelog trgovačkog lanca. Zračni promet brzo raste i niskobudžetni zračni prijevoznici sada nude jeftine redovite letove do mnogih odredišta. Zbog ovakvog razvoja trgovci pokušavaju odgovoriti na sve veću potražnju, ali i pobijediti konkurenciju, čime je cilj da zračne luke funkcioniraju poput velikih trgovačkih centara. Maloprodaja u zračnim lukama postala je jedan od najvažnijih prihoda zračnih luka. Zračne luke sadrže bescarinske prodavaonice, supermarkete, te ostale maloprodajne objekte, te se razlikuju po ponudi asortimana, pojedinih usluga, veličini itd. Zračni promet najmlađa je prometna grana u Hrvatskoj, ali i najbrže rastuća koja svake godine dovodi sve više turista, koji povezuju Hrvatsku s Europom i svijetom.
Cilj ovog rada je analizirati maloprodaju zračnih luka, vrste maloprodaje, te kako maloprodaja utječe na potrošače i njihovu kupnju prilikom boravka u zračnoj luci.

Abstract (english)

With the growing importance and globalization of air travel, retailers are beginning to change the way they think about airports, and for their business it is an important part of the entire retail chain. Air traffic is growing rapidly and low-cost airlines now offer cheap scheduled flights to many destinations. Due to this development, retailers are trying to respond to the increasing demand, but also to beat the competition, with the goal of making airports function like large shopping centers. Airport retailing has become one of the most important sources of revenue for airports. Airports contain duty-free shops, supermarkets, and other retail outlets, and they differ in terms of product range, individual services, size, etc. Air traffic is the youngest traffic branch in Croatia, but also the fastest growing, bringing more and more tourists every year, connecting Croatia with Europe and the world. The aim of this paper is to analyze airport retail, types of retail, and how retail affects consumers and their purchases during their stay at the airport.
