Abstract

Proizvodnja kruha i pekarskih proizvoda djelatnost je u usponu u Republici Hrvatskoj i raste u
prosjeku 2,1% godišnje u posljednjih 5 godina. U ovom diplomskom radu analizirano je upravo
jedno poduzeće iz pekarske industrije. Drugim riječima, analizirano je poslovanje poduzeća
„Evergreen“ kroz analizu financijskih izvještaja poduzeća i financijskih pokazatelja poslovanja
poduzeća te konkurentnost poduzeća kroz SWOT analizu.
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je dati detaljnu analizu poslovanja, konkurentnosti i konkurenata
poduzeća „Evergreen“ kako bi poduzeće dobilo uvid u to što radi dobro, a gdje ima prostora za
poboljšanje. Također, sekundarni cilj je da poduzeća koja su srodna poduzeću „Evergreen“
dobiju kvalitetne analize i informacije koje bi mogle proširiti njihove vidike i unaprijediti
njihovo poslovanje.
Za potrebe ovoga diplomskog rada koriste se sekundarni izvori podataka, prvenstveno
financijski izvještaji promatranog poduzeća "Evergreen“. Također, korištena je stručna i
znanstvena literatura domaćih i stranih autora, relevantne internetske stranice te akademske
baze podataka. Korištene znanstvene metode istraživanja u ovom radu su metoda analize,
metoda sinteze, metoda deskripcije, metoda komparacije i metoda klasifikacije. Pri analizi
poslovanja promatranog poduzeća „Evergreen“, korištene su vertikalna i horizontalna analiza
financijskih izvještaja.

Abstract (english)

Production of bread and bakery products is a growing activity in the Republic of Croatia and
has been growing at an average of 2.1% per year in the last 5 years. In this thesis, one company
that produces bread and bakery products is analyzed. In other words, the operations of the
company "Evergreen" were analyzed through the analysis of the company's financial statements
and financial indicators of the company's operations, as well as the competitiveness of the
company through a SWOT analysis.
The aim of this thesis is to provide a detailed analysis of the business, competitiveness and
competitors of the company "Evergreen" in order to gain an insight into what the company is
doing well and where there is room for improvement. Also, the secondary aim is that companies
related to the company "Evergreen" receive quality analyzes and information that could expand
their horizons and improve their business.
For the purposes of this thesis, secondary data sources are used, primarily the financial
statements of the observed company "Evergreen". Also, professional and scientific literature of
domestic and foreign authors, relevant websites and academic databases were used. When
analyzing the business of the observed company "Evergreen", vertical and horizontal analysis
of financial statements were used. The scientific research methods used in this paper are
analysis method, synthesis method, description method, comparison method and classification
method.
