Abstract

U diplomskom radu analizirat će se europsko tržište prirodnog plina s naglaskom na energetske politike, kojima države odlučuju i organiziraju korištenje energije iz odabranih izvora energije, čvorišta prirodnog plina, kojima se stvaraju likvidna i razvijena tržišta te lanci opskrbe, odnosno, pravci opskrbe, kojima europske države osiguravaju dostatnu i sigurnu ponudu plina unutar svojih granica. Nadalje, analizom odabranih država Europske unije, rad prikazuje širu sliku o razvijenosti i veličini tržišta različitih geografskih smještaja. Na samom kraju, rad se fokusira na potencijalne opskrbne pravce prirodnog plina, kojima bi EU diversificirala opskrbu te reducirala ovisnost o uvozu ruskog plina. Cilj ovoga rada je prikazati važnost prirodnog plina kao energetskog resursa te analizirati stanje tržišta prirodnog plina odabranih država članica Europske unije te iznijeti stanje o njihovoj ovisnosti o uvozu ruskog plina. Stručni doprinos rada prikazan je kroz navedene potencijalne opskrbne pravce te ulaganja u postojeću infrastrukturu, kako bi Europska unija osigurala opskrbu plinom.

Abstract (english)

The thesis will analyse European natural gas market with emphasis on energy policies, through which countries decide and organize utilization of energy from selected energy sources, natural gas hubs, which create liquid and developed markets, and supply chains, namely, supply routes, through which European countries ensure sufficient and secure gas supply within their borders. Furthermore, by analysing selected European Union countries, the paper provides a broader picture of the development and size of markets of various geographical locations. In conclusion, the paper focuses on potential natural gas supply routes, which the EU could use to diversify its supply and reduce its dependence on Russian gas imports. The goal of this paper is to demonstrate the importance of natural gas as an energy resource and to analyse the state of the natural gas market of selected EU member states, and to present the situation regarding their dependence on the import of Russian gas. The professional contribution of the paper is demonstrated through the mentioned potential supply routes and investments in the existing infrastructure, in order for the European Union to ensure gas supply.
