Abstract

Suvremeno poslovno okruženje, posebice u informacijsko-tehnološkom sektoru, karakterizira brza promjena, tehnološki napredak i globalizacija. Informacijsko-tehnološka (IT) poduzeća suočavaju se s izazovima koji proizlaze iz dinamičnosti tržišta te moraju kontinuirano prilagođavati svoju organizacijsku strukturu kako bi ostala konkurentna. Temeljni aspekt njihove prilagodbe jest organizacijski dizajn koji odražava način na koji su poduzeća strukturirana, kako se ljudi međusobno povezuju i kako se donose odluke. Ovaj diplomski rad usredotočuje se na istraživanje razvoja organizacijskog dizajna u različitim fazama životnog ciklusa informacijsko-tehnološkog poduzeća. Faze životnog ciklusa poduzeća obuhvaćaju različite periode rasta, sazrijevanja i stabilizacije te padanja. U svakoj od ovih faza, organizacijski dizajn poduzeća može se značajno mijenjati kako bi se prilagodio specifičnim izazovima i ciljevima. Kroz empirijsko istraživanje cilj je istražiti utjecaj organizacijskog redizajna na uspješnost poslovanja informacijsko-tehnološkog poduzeća kao i na zadovoljstvo njihovih zaposlenika, naglašavajući važnost prilagodbe poduzeća promjenama u tržištu, tehnologiji i konkurenciji. Rezultati ovog istraživanja pomoći će boljem razumijevanju dinamike organizacijskog dizajna u IT sektoru i pružiti smjernice za prilagodbu dizajna kako bi se podržala održiva uspješnost poslovanja.

Abstract (english)

The modern business environment, especially in the information technology sector, is characterized by rapid change, technological progress, and globalisation. Information technology (IT) companies face challenges stemming from market dynamism and need to continuously adapt their organisational structure to remain competitive. The fundamental aspect of their adaptation is organisational design that reflects how companies are structured, how people connect with each other and how decisions are made. This thesis focuses on research into the development of organisational design at different stages of the life cycle of the information technology company. The life cycle stages of a company cover different periods of growth, maturation, stabilisation, and decline. At each of these stages, the organisational design of the company can be significantly modified to adapt to specific challenges and objectives. Through empirical research, the aim is to investigate the influence of organisational redesign on the performance of the information technology company as well as on the satisfaction of its employees, emphasizing the importance of adapting the company to changes in the market, technology, and competition. The results of this research will help to better understand the dynamics of organisational design in the IT sector and provide guidance on design adaptation to support sustainable business performance.
