Abstract

Grad Samobor je prekrasan gradić smješten nedaleko od Zagreba, poznat po svojoj bogatoj povijesti. Samobor je stoga popularna destinacija za dnevne izlete iz Zagreba ili kraća putovanja, pružajući posjetiteljima jedinstvenu kombinaciju prirodne ljepote, kulturnih znamenitosti i gastronomskih užitaka. Svrha ovog rada je istražiti utjecaj kulturnog turizma na turističku destinaciju s posebnim naglaskom na Samobor, analizirajući njegov razvoj i značajke. Bit će prikazano kako turistička ponuda oblikuje cjelokupnu percepciju grada Samobora kao destinacije te će se objasniti pozitivni i negativni utjecaji turizma na destinaciju i lokalno stanovništvo. Jasno je da Samobor treba reviziju svoje turističke strategije kako bi povratio svoj nekadašnji sjaj i konkurentnost na tržištu. To uključuje potrebu za diversifikacijom turističke ponude, stvaranjem inovativnih i privlačnih sadržaja te ulaganjem u infrastrukturu i marketing. Ključno je osluškivati potrebe suvremenih putnika i prilagoditi se njihovim preferencijama, kako bi Samobor ponovno postao privlačno odredište za turiste iz cijelog svijeta. Samo kroz sustavno planiranje, ulaganje u razvoj turizma te suradnju između lokalnih vlasti, turističkih dionika i zajednice može se osigurati održiv i prosperitetan razvoj turizma u Samoboru.

Abstract (english)

The town of Samobor is a beautiful town located not far from Zagreb, known for its rich history. Samobor is therefore a popular destination for day trips from Zagreb or shorter trips, offering visitors a unique combination of natural beauty, cultural sights, and gastronomic delights. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of cultural tourism on the tourist destination with special emphasis on Samobor, analyzing its development and features. It will be shown how the tourist offer shapes the overall perception of the city of Samobor as a destination, and the positive and negative impacts of tourism on the destination and the local population will be explained. Samobor needs a review of its tourism strategy to regain its former glory and competitiveness on the market. This includes the need to diversify the tourist offer, create innovative and attractive content, and invest in infrastructure and marketing. It is crucial to listen to the needs of modern travelers and adapt to their preferences, so that Samobor once again becomes an attractive destination for tourists from all over the world. Only through systematic planning, investment in tourism development and cooperation between local authorities, tourism stakeholders and the community can a sustainable and prosperous development of tourism in Samobor be ensured.
