Abstract

Ovaj rad analizira trenutnu situaciju solarne energije u Hrvatskoj, s posebnim naglaskom na izazove i mogućnosti za razvoj solarnih projekata. Cilj istraživanja bio je identificirati glavne prepreke u razvoju solarne energije, poput administrativnih ograničenja, nedostatka financijskih poticaja i infrastrukturnih problema, te predložiti strategije za njihovo prevladavanje. Metodologija rada uključuje analizu javno dostupnih podataka, studije slučajeva postojećih solarnih projekata i pregled relevantnih zakonskih okvira. Rezultati pokazuju da Hrvatska, unatoč povoljnim klimatskim uvjetima, zaostaje za drugim europskim zemljama u iskorištavanju solarnog potencijala zbog kompleksnih birokratskih procedura i nedovoljne mrežne infrastrukture. Zaključak rada ističe potrebu za modernizacijom elektroenergetske mreže, povećanjem financijskih poticaja te boljim korištenjem tehnologija poput pametnih mreža i IoT-a, kako bi se postigao održivi razvoj i energetska neovisnost Hrvatske.

Abstract (english)

This study examines the current state of solar energy in Croatia, focusing on the challenges and opportunities for developing solar projects. The aim of the research was to identify the main obstacles to solar energy development, such as administrative constraints, lack of financial incentives, and infrastructural issues, and to propose strategies for overcoming them. The methodology includes the analysis of publicly available data, case studies of existing solar projects, and a review of relevant legal frameworks. The findings reveal that Croatia, despite favorable climatic conditions, lags behind other European countries in harnessing its solar potential due to complex bureaucratic procedures and insufficient grid infrastructure. The paper concludes by emphasizing the need to modernize the power grid, increase financial incentives, and better utilize technologies such as smart grids and IoT to achieve sustainable development and energy independence in Croatia.
