Abstract

Ovaj rad analizira primjenu budžetiranja kapitala u procjeni isplativosti investicijskog projekta mikro poduzeća. Cilj istraživanja je ocijeniti financijsku održivost projekta, utvrditi utjecaj bespovratnih sredstava te pružiti teorijski okvir za razumijevanje mogućnosti financiranja i investiranja u mikro, mala i srednja poduzeća kao i u samu teoriju budžetiranja kapitala. Metodologija istraživanja temelji se na primjeni metoda budžetiranja kapitala, uključujući analizu razdoblja povrata, diskontiranog razdoblja povrata i rezidualnog novčanog toka. Kako bi se identificirao parametar s najznačajnijim utjecajem na čistu sadašnju vrijednost projekta, provedena je i analiza osjetljivosti. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da se ulaganje vraća unutar predviđenog vijeka trajanja projekta, no diskontirano razdoblje povrata ukazuje na dulji vremenski period potreban za ostvarenje povrata te ograničene mogućnosti generiranja dobiti. Čista sadašnja vrijednost temeljena na rezidualnom novčanom toku projekta je pozitivna što ukazuje na isplativost projekta. Istovremeno, analiza osjetljivosti provedena na rezidualnom novčanom toku ističe kako je projekt održiviji pod uvjetom stabilnog ili rastućeg prihoda, čak i uz umjereno povećanje duga, odnosno pretpostavku manjeg iznosa bespovratnih sredstava. Abstract (english)

This paper analyzes the application of capital budgeting in assessing the profitability of an investment project for a micro-enterprise. The aim of the research is to evaluate the financial sustainability of the project, determine the impact of grants, and provide a theoretical framework for understanding financing and investment opportunities for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the theory of capital budgeting itself. Special emphasis is placed on the... More specificities of capital budgeting in the context of small businesses, the challenges that SMEs face, and their contribution to the economic ecosystem. The research methodology is based on the application of capital budgeting methods, including payback period analysis, discounted payback period, and residual cash flow. To identify the parameter with the most significant impact on the net present value of the project, a sensitivity analysis was also conducted. The research results show that the investment is recovered within the projected project duration, but the discounted payback period indicates a longer time required for return and limited profit-generating potential. The net present value based on the project's residual cash flow is positive, indicating the profitability of the project. At the same time, the sensitivity analysis conducted on the residual cash flow highlights that the project is more sustainable under conditions of stable or growing revenue, even with a moderate increase in debt and a lower amount of grant funding.
