Abstract
To end the discussion on big data in business, one must be aware of different stakeholders (big data business models) taking part in big data economy. Schroeder pointed out that “it is clear that those pursuing the three models will have quite different bottlenecks in going forward strategically: data quality affect all three, but addressing this issue may be costly for suppliers, may lead users to discount or factor in the reliability of data and prompt facilitators to seek the best available sources”. The same goes for data context, metadata and data provenance; suppliers will be the ones bearing the costs of organizing coherent and relevant datasets for users. Also, organisational structure is important for users for the sake of reliability, for suppliers to develop competitive advantage and for facilitators to mediate the data to those who have use of it.37 On the business side, many sectors can utilize on big data, perhaps retail, healthcare and manufacturing more than other (information sector is needless to mention).
