Abstract

Održivim razvojem turizma smatra se turizam koji vodi računa o svojim sadašnjim ali i budućim ekonomskim, društvenim i okolišnim utjecajima pomirujući potrebe posjetitelja, industrije, okoliša i lokalne zajednice. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je istražiti u kakvom su odnosu održivi razvoj turizma i poslovanje turoperatora te će na primjeru najvećeg svjetskog turoperatora TUI-a biti prikazano kako implementacija načela održivog razvoja turizma u turoperatorsko poslovanje može pozitivno utjecati na cjelokupno poslovanje. Uloga održivog razvoja turizma u poslovanju turoperatora ogleda se promjenama koje se uvode u poslovanje na način da se vodi veća briga o zaštiti okoliša, promišljenom iskorištavanju turističkih resursa, smanjenju masovnosti turizma, suradnjom s destinacijama na svim razinamate zajedničkom donošenju odluka kao i za stalnom potragom za novim tehnološkim rješenjima koja se zasnivaju na obnovljivim izvorima energije. Također, uvođenjem održivog razvoja turizma u svoje poslovanje, turoperatori mogu stvoriti konkurentsku prednost.

Abstract (english)

Sustainable development of tourism is considered as tourism that takes care of their current and future economic, social and environmental impacts of reconciling the needs of visitors, industry, the environment and local communities. The aim of this diploma thesis was to investigate the relationship between sustainable tourism and business of tour operators and to the example of the world's biggest tour operator TUI will be shown how to implement the principles of sustainable tourism development in the tour operator business can have a positive impact on the entire business. The role of sustainable tourism development in the business of tour operators is reflected in the changes that are introduced into the business in a way that takes greater account of environmental protection, deliberate exploitation trističkih resources, reducing the mass tourism, cooperation with destinations in all razinamate joint decision-making as well as the continuous search for new technological solutions that are based on renewable energy sources. Also, the introduction of sustainable tourism development in their business, tour operators can create a competitive advantage.
