Abstract

Osnovna svrha ovog rada jest u razmatranju uloge financijskih institucija u financiranju izvoza kao determinante ekonomskog rasta, posebice za male otvorene ekonomije. Kada je riječ o međunarodnom okruženju i uvjetima poslovanja na svjetskom tržištu nacionalne ekonomije suočene su trendom globalizacije svih gospodarskih aktivnosti pa tako i izvoza. U većini država svijeta oblikovan je cjelovit sustav financiranja izvoza u kojem sudjeluje država, različite izvozne organizacije, financijske institucije i sami izvoznici. Sustavi se razlikuju među državama ovisno o brojnim čimbenicima poput institucionalnog okvira, razvijenosti financijskog sektora, izvoza financiranja institucija te uloge države. No, svi sustavi imaju zajednički cilj poticati izvoz u cilju postizanja gospodarskog rasta i razvoja.

Abstract (english)

The main purpose of this paper is the consideration of the role of financial institutions in financing of exports as a determinant of economic growth, especially for small open economies. When it comes to the international environment and business conditions in the world market, the national economy faced the trend of globalization of economic activities including exports. Most countries of the world formed an integrated system of export financing with the participation of the state, different export organizations, financial institutions and exporters themselves. Systems differ between countries depending on a number of factors such as the institutional framework, development of the financial sector, export financing institutions and the role of government. However, all the systems have the common goal of encouraging exports in order to achieve economic growth and development.
