Abstract

Ovaj rad objašnjava pojam mikrofinanciranja u funkciji sprječavanja prepreka održivog razvoja. Na početku rada objašnjeni su pojmovi održivog razvoja i siromaštva nakon čega slijedi obrada pojma mikrofinanciranja i primjeri mikrofinanciranja u Europi, svijetu i Hrvatskoj. Velik doprinos razvoju ideje i implementacije mikrofinanciranja dali su Muhammad Yunus i Grameen banka iz Bangladeša.
Osnovni cilj rada je prikazati ulogu mikrofinanciranja u smanjivanju socijalnih i ekoloških prepreka održivog razvoja kako bi se mogle zadovoljiti potrebe sadašnje generacije bez da se ugrožava sposobnost budućih generacija da zadovolje svoje potrebe.
Mikrofinanciranje ima znatnu ulogu u smanjivanju ranjivosti najsiromašnijih kojima je otežan pristup financijskim sredstvima i poticanju upotrebe ekološki prihvatljivih oblika energije. Unatoč brojnim pozitivnim utjecajima koje ima za svoje najsiromašnije korisnike od kojih su većina žene, uz mikrofinanciranje se sve više vežu problem nemogućnosti izvršavanja obveza i sve veća dugovanja klijenata.

Abstract (english)

This labour deals with microfinancing and it`s function in reducing obstacles to sustainable development. At the beginnig of the labour there will be explanation of sustainable development and poverty followed by microfinancing and examples of microfinancing in Europe, world and Croatia. Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank from Bangladesh have contributed to the development of the microfinancing and to it`s implementation.
The main objective of this labour is to review the importance of microfinancing in reducing social and environmental obstacles of the sustainable development so that mankind would be able to meet present needs without compromising the ability of meeting their needs for future generations.
Microfinance has an important role in reducing the vulnerability of the poorest who are denied access to funding, especially women. Microfinance also has the role in encouraging the use of environmentally friendly forms of energy. Despite a number of positive impacts, there are increasing problems among clients such as inability to execute obligations and increasing debt rating.
