Abstract

Mogućnosti financiranja projekata uz pomoć fondova Europske unije od velike su važnosti kako za razvoj turizma, tako i za razvoj cjelokupnog gospodarstva zemalja članica EU. Republika Hrvatska kao punopravna članica Europske unije još uvijek nije iskoristila pune potencijale sufinanciranja razvojnih projekata iz sredstava fondova EU. Upravo iz tog razloga vrlo je važno razviti mrežu javnog informiranja o mogućnostima sufinanciranja kako bi idejni pokretači i suinvestitori projekata u turizmu dobili cjelovitu sliku kako oblikovati ideju, izraditi uspješnu natječajnu dokumentaciju i dobiti novčana sredstva potrebna za realizaciju projekta. Cilj ovog rada je obrazložiti ulogu kohezijske politike EU, njezine ciljeve i instrumente, te kako ih iskoristiti za unapređenje turističke ponude Varaždinske županije. Pri pisanju rada, korišteni su sekundarni izvori podataka.

Abstract (english)

Possibility of financing projects using European union funds is very important for tourism development as well as development of entire economies within the EU. Croatia as a member of EU still hasn't managed to exploit the full potential of co-financing projects from EU funds. It is very important to develop a network of a public informing network so conceptual initiators and co-investors in tourism could see the whole concept, how to form an idea, make successfull application documentation, and get funds for project realization. The aim of this thesis is to explain the role of cohesion EU policy, her goals, instruments and how to use it to advance tourist offer of Varaždin county. The data used in this thesis were from secondary sources.
