Abstract

Računovodstveni informacijski sustav predstavlja dio ukupnog informacijskog sustava koji menadžmentu pruža financijske informacije važne za poslovno odlučivanje.Cilj ovog rada je istražiti što sve utječe na kvalitetu računovodstvenog informacijskog sustava. U prvom dijelu dana je definicija računovodstvenog informacijskog sustava, njegov životni ciklus te osnovna obilježja računovodstvenih softverskih paketa. Nadalje, u drugom dijelu opisuju se pojmovi kao što je kvaliteta i upravljanje kvalitetom u poduzeću.Sustavi upravljanja kvalitetom pridonose boljoj sveukupnoj organizaciji poslovanja te poboljšanju poslovnih procesa. Samim time pomažu poduzeću da osigura zadovoljavajuću razinu kvalitete svojih proizvoda i svojeg poslovanja. Kako bi to postiglo, menadžment poduzeća mora raspolagati kvalitetnim računovodstvenim informacijama. Kako bi se osigurala kvaliteta računovodstvenog informacijskog sustava koji je generator takvih informacija, menadžment mora osigurati odgovarajuće interne kontrole te provesti reviziju informacijskog sustava. Naposljetku, na kraju ovog rada spominje se informacijska tehnologija i integrirane poslovne aplikacije u računovodstvu, koje nesumnjivo uvelike utječu na poslovanje poduzeća i sam informacijski sustav.

Abstract (english)

The accounting information system is a subsystem of a management information system that provides financial informationnecessary for business decision-making.This paper analyzes the basic characteristics of an accounting information systems quality. In the first part of this paper it is explained what accounting information system is, how his life cycle looks like and which are main characteristics of accounting software packages. Furthermore, second part is more oriented to defining the term of quality and quality management. Quality management systems contribute to better overall organization management and improvement of business processes. In order to achieve that goal, the management in the company requests the appropriate level of accounting information quality. The accounting information system is the main source of thoseinformation. Further in the paper,special attention it is paid to internal control system within enterprise and information system audit. Finally, the end of this paper is dedicated to information technology and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in accounting.
