Abstract

Kako bi pružatelji elektroničkih usluga održali korak s konkurencijom nužna je prilagodba novonastalim uvjetima na tržištu. Pri tome se posebna pozornost treba posvetiti potrošačima i njihovim pravima i sigurnosti jer upravo su potrošači glavni pokretači novih trendova i pokretači tržišnog razvoja. Korištenje on-line transakcija sa sobom povlači uklanjanje barijera klasične trgovine i omogućava cijelodnevnu dostupnost tržišta potrošaču pri čemu je nužna uspostava dobre komunikacije pružatelja usluga i samih potrošača. S obzirom da je Republika Hrvatska sastavni dio Europske unije, od presudne je važnosti da se pružatelji usluga i potrošači prilagode europskim uvjetima tržišta, prije svega elektroničkoga. Osnovni je cilj rada prikazati trenutnu poziciju potošača u on-line trgovini i financijskim transakcijama kako bi se dobio uvid u stanje na području zaštite potrošača i kako bi se mogle izvuči preporuke za budući razvoj zaštite potrošača.

Abstract (english)

In order to keep pace with the competition, it is necessary to adjust to new conditions in the market. In doing so, special attention should be given to consumers and their rights and security just because consumers are the main drivers of new trends and market development. The use of on-line transactions removes the barriers of conventional trade and allows all-day access to the consumer markets where necessary to establish good communications service between providers and consumers themselves. Given that Croatia is an integral part of the European Union, it is crucial that the service providers and consumers adapt to European market conditions, primarily electronic. The main objective of this paper is to show the current position of consumers in the on-line trade and financial transactions in order to obtain insight in the field of consumer protection and to be able to extract recommendations for the future development of consumer protection.
