Abstract

Atraktivnost i kvalitetan proizvod turističke destinacije u suvremenim je turističkim kretanjima uglavnom temeljni motiv kod izbora putovanja potencijalnih turista. Turisti putuju na određene destinacije, a u uvjetima sve veće konkurencije i neslućene razvijenosti suvremenih načina komuniciranja (u prvom redu Interneta) žele znati sve potrebne informacije o toj destinaciji, od načina dolaska i boravka, sadržaja koje destinacija nudi, do povratka u svoju zemlju. Da bi se turistima mogle pružiti tražene informacije, organizacije koje upravljaju marketingom turističkih destinacija koriste veliki broj različitih oblika komuniciranja i promocije.
Glavnu ulogu u promociji određene turističke destinacije imaju odnosi s javnošću koji predstavljaju najznačajnije sredstvo promocije. Uloga odnosa s javnošću postaje sve veća i svaki dan nastaju nove situacije u kojima interakcija organizacije s javnošću nalaže drugačija ponašanja. Menadžeri moraju obratiti pozornost na odnose s javnošću i ne smiju ih ni nakratko zanemariti jer može doći do velikih propusta u poslovanju koji utječu na uspješnost.
U ovom diplomskom radu objašnjena je primjena odnosa s javnošću u turizmu te je prikazana usporedba odnosa s javnošću između Hrvatske i Slovenije kao turističke destinacije. Na temelju svega navedenog došlo se do zaključka da obje destinacije imaju dobro razvijen sistem odnosa s javnošću koji im omogućuje učinkovito i uspješno poslovanje te ostvarivanje ciljeva koji su u svojoj suštini isti, a to je promocija vlastitih zemalja kao turističkog odredišta i promocija turizma vlastite zemlje općenito.

Abstract (english)

The attractiveness and quality product of tourist destinations in the modern tourist trends is mostly basic motive for travel by potential tourist. Tourists are traveling to certain destinations, but in terms of increased competition and the immense development of modern ways of communication (primarily the Internet ) want to know all the information about the destination, mode of arrival and stay, the contents that destination offer , to return to his own country. To provide the requested information to tourists , the organization that governs the marketing of tourist destinations use a number of different forms of communication and promotion.
The main role in promoting certain tourist destinations have public relations that are the most important means of promotion. The role of public relations is becoming more bigger and every day new situation arise in which the interaction of the organization with the public requires different behavior. Managers must pay attention to public relations and must not ignore them because it can cause serious failures in business affecting the success.
This thesis explains the application of public relations in tourism and the comparison of relations between Croatian and Slovenia as a tourist destination. Based on the above it was concluded that both destinations have well- developed system of relations that allows them effective and successful business and achieving goals that are essentially the same, and that is the promotion of their own countries as a tourist destination and tourism promotion of their own country in general.
