Abstract

Ovaj rad usmjeren je na tematiku uspješnosti poslovanja društvenih poduzeća. Društveno poduzetništvo spona je između privatnog i društvenog sektora te omogućuje primjenu poduzetničkih načela u društvenom sektoru. Primarni cilj društvenog poduzetništva je unaprjeđenje kvalitete života kroz društveno poduzeće. Društveno poduzeće okarakterizirano je društvenom misijom kao temeljem za rješavanje društvenih potreba te svoju imovinu i bogatstvo koristi za stvaranje koristi u zajednici. Društvene poduzetnike karakterizira maksimiziranje društvenog utjecaja. U radu su analizirane mjere koje pokazuju uspješnost društvenih poduzeća, financijske i nefinancijske te institucionalni legitimitet. Financijske mjere odnose se na izračune financijskih pokazatelja na temelju financijskih izvještaja, dok se nefinancijske mjere odnose na mjerenje društvenog učinka kojeg je poduzeće ostvarilo. Uspješnost poslovanja društvenih poduzeća analizirano je na tri primjera iz Hrvatske. Na temelju primjera, provedena je analiza financijskog poslovanja te ostvarenog društvenog učinka.

Abstract (english)

This paper focuses on the topic of the success of social enterprise business. Social entrepreneurship is a link between the private and social sectors and enables the application of entrepreneurial principles in the social sector. The primary goal of social entrepreneurship is to improve the quality of life through social enterprise. A social enterprise is characterized by a social mission as the basis for addressing social needs and using its assets and wealth to create benefits in the community. Social entrepreneurs are characterized by maximizing social impact. The paper analyzes measures that demonstrate the performance of social enterprises: financial, non-financial, and institutional legitimacy. Financial measures refer to the calculation of financial indicators based on the financial statements, while non-financial measures refer to the measurement of the social impact of an entity. The performances of social enterprises are analyzed through three examples from Croatia which were also the basis for the analysis of financial operations and real social impact they had.
