Abstract

Glavni je cilj rada analizirati visinu, strukturu te kretanje kratkoročnog duga Republike Hrvatske i zemalja članica EU. Utvrditi razloge kratkoročnog zaduživanja, glavne financijske instrumente te glavna obilježja tržišta kratkoročnog javnog duga. Središte pozornosti rada je analiza kratkoročnog duga zemalja u razdoblju od 2008.-2017., usporedba odnosa kratkoročnog i dugoročnog duga te financijskih instrumenata i tržišta u državama članicama EU.

Abstract (english)

The main objective of this paper is to analyze the amount, the structure and the movement of short-term debt of Republic of Croatia and the EU state members. The same, it will be determined the reasons of short-term obligations, main financial instruments and the characteristics of the short-term debt market. The focus of this paper will be the analysis of the short-term debt of the countries in the period from 2008.to 2017., the comparison of the relations between short and long term debt so as the financial instruments and the debt markets.
