Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je analizirati organizacijske strukture hrvatskih nacionalnih sportskih saveza. U radu će biti teorijski definirana organizacijska struktura kao element dizajniranja organizacije, a zatim će se detaljnije objasniti specifičnosti organizacijskih struktura i njihovih ključnih dimenzija u sportskim organizacijama. Istraživanje je provedeno na deset hrvatskih nacionalnih sportskih saveza olimpijskih sportova, pet iz skupine velikih sportova, a pet iz skupine malih sportova. Primarni podaci prikupljeni su putem polustrukturiranih intervjua sa zaposlenicima svakog od saveza. Iako su pojedini dijelovi organizacijske strukture svih hrvatskih nacionalnih sportskih saveza uređeni zakonom, savezi se međusobno razlikuju u podjeli rada, diferencijaciji, broju zaposlenika pa tako i specijalizaciji posla. Dok se mali savezi zbog nedostatka financijskih sredstava oslanjaju na volontere za vođenje saveza i operativne zadatke, veliki savezi imaju isključivo plaćene profesionalce na svojim radnim mjestima.

Abstract (english)

The goal of this paper is to analyze the organizational structures of Croatian national sports federations. The paper will theoretically define organizational structure as an element of organizational design, and then the specifics of organizational structures and their key dimensions in sports organizations will be explained in more detail. The study was conducted on ten Croatian national sports federations of olympic sports, five from the large sports group and five from the small sports group. Primary data were collected through semi-structured interviews with employees of each federation. Although some parts of the organizational structure of all Croatian national sports federations are regulated by law, the federations differ in the way they divide the work, differentiation, the number of employees and the specialization of work. While small federations, due to lack of funding, rely on volunteers to run the federation and operational tasks, large federations have paid professionals running the federation.
