Abstract

Svrha turističkih posrednika je povezivanje turističke ponude s turističkom potražnjom. Na dinamičnom i stalno promjenjivom tržištu djeluju brojne turističke agencije i turoperatori stoga je nužna njihova podjela. Receptivne turističke agencije usmjeravaju se na stručnost i inovativnost u kreiranju i organiziranju specifičnih turističkih proizvoda. Takve turističke agencije pojavljuju se pod nazivom destinacijske menadžment kompanije. Ne specijaliziraju se samo turističke agencije. Manji turoperatori jednako tako prepoznaju važnost u segmetaciji prema određenim tržišnim nišama i specijalizaciji prema pojedinim destinacijama i aktivnostima na odmoru. Izuzetno su važni i pravni odnosi i suradnja između turističkih posrednika zbog učinkovitosti u njihovu poslovanju. Njihovo djelovanje određuju zakoni i propisi koji su različiti u različitim zemljama zbog neujednačene turističke politike na svjetskoj razini.

Abstract (english)

The purpose of travel and tourism intermediaries is connecting the tourist supply with the tourist demand. Numerous travel agencies and tour operators are present in this dynamic and constantly changing market, thus there is a need to classify them. Receptive travel agencies focus on expertise and innovation in creating and organizing specific tourism products. Those travel agencies are also called destination management companies. However, the specialization is not exclusive just to travel agencies. Smaller tour operators also recognize the importance of the segmentation into specific niches and specializing in specific destinations and holiday activities. Legal relations and cooperation between travel and tour intermediaries make a crucial role in the efficiency of their business. They are governed by laws and regulations that are not uniform due to the uneven tourism policies around the world.
