Abstract
Title of this paper is Croatian export performance after the Republic of Croatia joined the European union, after 1st July 2013. Accordingly, paper discusses the most important determinants of export, its role and importance for the economy in general, and for Croatian economy. Various subsidies and incentives are mentioned. A special emphasis is placed on the situational analysis of exports of the Republic of Croatia after its entry into the European Union, which is interpreted, explained and compared with the situation prior to its entry to the European Union. Thre NACE activities were also considered: 1) agriculture, forestry and fisheries, 2) manufactoring, and 3) mining and quarrying, as well as three sectors: food and live animals: Croatia is known for its historic, domestic and unique cuisine and also large variety of animals; beverages and tobacco: Tobacco factory Rovinj (TDR) is the biggest tobacco manufacturer in the south-eastern Europe. Croatia is also known for very popular beverages such as beer, spirits called brandy and high quality wines, and many others; chemical product e.g. company Pliva is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in this part of the Europe. Three sectors are analysed because of high importance in Croatian export performance
